In 1978, DEXAM started to specialise in the manufacture of quality prestressing and post-tensioning wedges. With the aid of special purpose machines, the annual output gradually increased to the current level of 4 million units, comprising WEDGES, SWAGES, BARRELS, MULTI STRAND ANCHORS (up to 91 strand, 400mm diameter), JACK-WEDGES and associated hardware.

DEXAM INDUSTRIES would undoubtedly be the largest manufacturer in this field in the southern hemisphere and currently exports to 9 countries.
